ChannelReceipts is run by Jin Ledger, a solo operator based in Busan, South Korea, who runs four YouTube channels across different niches: animal shorts, commerce shorts, long-form space content in English, and a Korean channel documenting the automation experiments behind all of them.

This site exists because most creator-tool reviews are written by people who have never uploaded a video. They compare feature lists, copy each other's summaries, and collect affiliate commissions on tools they opened once.

We do one thing differently: every tool gets tested on channels we actually run, for weeks, and we publish the real numbers: retention curves, click-through rates, views, hours saved, money spent. If a tool made our numbers worse, we say so. Those numbers are the receipts.

How we test

• Minimum 2-4 weeks of real use on a live channel, not a demo project.
• Before/after metrics from YouTube Studio, screenshotted and dated.
• Failures included. A tool that wasted our time gets written up too.
• If a link is an affiliate link, it is marked. Commissions never change a verdict.
